Seattle Mortgage Rates Today 9/10/12:  With not much to report as mortgage bonds are trading near unchanged levels today, this will short and to the point.  Last week upon hearing the weak jobs report on Friday, bonds saw a much needed boost.  However, the German high court ruling regarding the legality of the unlimited rescue fund will be announced on Wednesday.  Then, on Thursday the Federal Open Market Committee will meet and perhaps announce the implementation of Quantitative Easing 3.  These market-altering news affairs are sure to affect the bond market.  What should you do?  Be on the ready to lock.  We saw bonds react negatively in the last round of easing with stocks befitting superficially.

Fundamentally, the economy is sluggish and the crisis in Europe is far from over.  SO how high can rates really go?  Should they rise, they will most likely be coming down…
