2^nd Quarter of 2013 is already here!  The stock market gained positive ground in the 1^st quarter this year, sending Seattle mortgage rates on an upward trend.  The previous 2 years, May was a stock market selloff.  If this happens bonds may see additional support and mortgage rates can maintain this low level.

How Does This Affect My Mortgage Rate?

Three possible benefits for mortgage rates are:  The Fed’s purchase program will continue to help home loan mortgage rates float around the bottom.  The Euro drama continues with banking struggles and country bailout plans.  If the stock market reverses from the 1^st quarter improvement, bonds usually improve when stocks sell off.
