What’s Happening in Financial Markets?

Last quarter was not good for the bond market causing a 400bps drop which leads to increased mortgage rates.  Starting Q3 today, we hope to reverse the trend and see mortgage rates improve.

How Does This Affect My Mortgage Rate?

Since June 26, 2013 the Seattle Bond market has had minimal improvements so hopefully the trend can continue to improve mortgage rates for consumers.  With the holiday this week, it is a short week so plan ahead if you need to secure your mortgage rate.
