What’s Happening in Financial Markets?

May was a very difficult month for mortgage bonds.  With positive Jobs reports to Bernanke’s lack of clarity caused the bonds to drop significantly.

How Does This Affect My Mortgage Rate?

With May’s job report due out this week, the market is reacting as if the numbers will be positive again.  IF market expectations are met, rates could potentially worsen.  If the jobs report is worse, this could potentially help rates improve.  Friday is the announcement so stay tuned!
