Jobs, Jobs, and more Jobs, the jobs report states 175k new jobs were created in the market with the expectation of 159k. Even though the unemployment rate increased .1% to 7.6% the positive jobs report caused the stock market to move higher.
How Does This Affect My Mortgage Rate?
Mortgage rates are higher today. The mixed economic data still does not show solid proof the economy is in full recovery mode. Hopefully the Feds can confidently say QE will continue as planned to help stabilize mortgage rates.
