Bonds are hovering around the 50 day average

How Does This Affect My Mortgage Rate?

The stock market did open strong this morning and tapered off providing bonds a nice improvement.  The positive is bonds closed above the 50 day moving average hopefully providing a floor of support.

Retail sales were reported up .3% and beat expectations but last month’s figures were even lower so the gains today did not add much value.

Tomorrow being Friday, will be interesting to see how the market closes for the week.  If bonds can remain above the resistance levels, that would be a positive for the future.
