Overall this is a pretty quiet economic news week.

How Does This Affect My Mortgage Rate?

Today the mortgage bond market was off to a positive start but as the day continued we lost the positive momentum and lost all gains.  Both the stock market and mortgage bonds ended the day worse than where it began.  With this result, Seattle mortgage rates may open worse tomorrow.

Most importantly the mortgage bonds are currently trading right above a huge support level.  We must remain above this level or we could see a bump higher in rate.
