Seattle Mortgage Rates Today 6/7/12
Seattle Mortgage Rates today 6/7/12: Grumbling of another round of Quantitative Easing has the markets stirring. Europe facing MAJOR problems after going MONTHS with no plans in place to revive their economy and financial situation has once again put the rumors of mortgage rates moving lower in the U.S. The big BUT is will the global recession really pressure the U.S. Bond yields to move lower and will mortgage rates react. Sorry to say but every other day I hear LOWEST RATES in history, but we have been here for almost 14 months on and off. How much lower can we go is the real question?
FHA Refinance TIP: If you have a FHA home loan that was ENDORSED on or before May 31, 2009 you have a HUGE opportunity to refinance. Most FHA loans took 45-60 days to get endorsed so you had to close your loan in March or mid-April 2009 at the latest. If you think you fall into this category, you can refinance and save quite a bit.
The UFMIP is .01% and the monthly mortgage insurance premium is .55%. We can always look up your endorsement date for you. Please contact us for further details on pricing/savings.
