What’s Happening in Financial Markets?

Last two days was a huge sell off of mortgage bonds that increased Seattle mortgage rates.  Even though the initial jobless claims dropped mortgage rates did not worsen today (surprising).  Later today is a $13B 30 year bond auction.

How Does This Affect My Mortgage Rate?

 Depending on the results of the bond auction at 11am PST, this could shake up the market and move mortgage rates up or down.  If you are on the fence about locking check with us at 11am for auction results.
