FHA home loans recently received a rate hike on April 1, 2013 which is unfortunate for Seattle home buyers and buyers across the US.  And the good news is FHA is cash positive again so they do not expect any future rate hikes.  Best case is the surplus of funds would allow FHA to reduce the premiums for home buyers.

How Does This Affect My Mortgage Rate?

Seattle mortgage rates remain the same; there has not been a huge amount of volatility for the month of April.  Definitely a positive sign to allow Seattle real estate buyers and homeowners lock in a low rate for 2013.
