What’s Happening in Financial Markets?

Bonds are slightly up today helping mortgage rates remain very low for Seattle real estate buyers and owners who are refinancing.  Day to day, we are not receiving huge improvements in rate, but minor gains in the right direction.

How Does This Affect My Mortgage Rate?

ADP report downgraded March’s jobs report from 158k to 131k and April missed the mark by 36k.  The private jobs are slowing as we head into the spring season.  The Federal Reserve holds a policy meeting today and is expected to continue with QE3 to support the bond market.
