Quiet day and week for the most part, jobs/inflation would be discussed later this week.

How Does This Affect My Mortgage Rate?

Stocks are down today, providing a small benefit to the mortgage rates.  Not a significant change from last Friday.  Mortgage bonds remain above a key level of support at this time for the past 3 business days.  If the level of support fails, expect rates to climb.

Later on this week, inflation and jobs will be the topic.  It will be interesting to hear how the Fed members see each impacting the market in the future.  Both jobs and inflation have the power to shift mortgage rates quickly.
